Thank You, Cloudinary: Supporting Women in San Jose Through Career Coaching

This Women’s History Month, we had the opportunity to deepen our partnership with Cloudinary in a meaningful way and we’re grateful for their continued commitment to the women we serve.

What began last year as a corporate donation drive partnership grew this year into something more. In addition to hosting a donation drive at their headquarters, Cloudinary joined us in San Jose for an in-person career coaching session, expanding their impact beyond clothing to direct, one-on-one support.

Following the donation drive, Cloudinary volunteers personally delivered the collected items to our temporary space at Westfield Valley Fair. From there, they stepped into a new role—serving as career coaches for 10 women preparing for their next steps.

During this one-hour session, participants received individualized support with resumes, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and job search strategy. For many, it was also a space to talk through uncertainty and gain clarity on what comes next.

Among those in attendance were five educators from a local school who had recently received notice that their roles would be eliminated at the end of the school year. For them, and for others navigating career transitions, the experience offered not just practical guidance, but a sense of connection during a difficult moment.

Having the support of the Cloudinary team helped ensure that no one in the room felt alone in their job search.

This is what partnership can look like—showing up in ways that are responsive, personal, and grounded in real need.

To the Cloudinary team: thank you for your time, your thoughtfulness, and your willingness to step in and support women as they navigate change.
