Despite the Bay Area’s global reputation for innovation and prosperity, women in San Jose are 20% more likely than men to live in poverty, and single mothers are especially vulnerable: 78% struggle to meet basic needs.

We address these inequities by equipping women with the tools, skills, and support systems required to achieve sustainable employment and long-term financial independence. 

And while women have made some gains at work, women’s day-to-day experiences have not largely improved from a decade ago. That's why our programs focus on practical support that changes what’s possible.
