Welcome Alicia Black to the Board of Directors!
Join us in welcoming Alicia Black, the newest member of the Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose Board of Directors. With multiple decades of experience, Alicia has led strategic initiatives, training operations, and cross-functional collaborations across higher education and corporate environments.

Alicia earned her doctorate in Organizational Change Leadership from the University of Southern California in January 2025, where her research focused on the underemployment of persons with disabilities. She is committed to advancing equity and inclusion by bridging research and practice.
Currently, Alicia serves as the Assistant Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Development at Stanford University’s Residential & Dining Enterprises. A change agent in learning and talent development, she leads inclusive leadership initiatives, leverages learning analytics, and drives organizational change.
As a Board Director, Alicia will support the organization’s governance and help guide long-term strategy as we continue to grow our impact across the Bay Area.

Dress for Success’ mission closely aligns with that commitment—helping women build not only careers, but long-term economic mobility. I’m especially excited to contribute to the organization’s strategic growth and deepen its impact across the Bay Area.”
Beyond her professional work, Alicia is actively engaged in community service, mentoring, and leadership. She is a dedicated dance mom and serves with Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Links, Incorporated, and on the board of WeHOPE.
