We spent lunchtime on Wednesday, October 18th with Verizon Wireless! Verizon Wireless volunteers, Ned and Balvinder, shared their resume writing wisdom with the event participants. Our own Career Coaches, Susan, Laura and Adrianna also joined in on the fun to provide career coaching!
The participants shared their resumes ahead of time which was very helpful for their coaches tailor the session to meet them where they are professionally.
Beyond providing feedback and suggestion on participant resumes, career coaches also offered assistance in crafting elevator pitch, interview best practices and basics of LinkedIn.com.
As a surprise and delight, participants received a beauty kit filled with makeup and skincare.
