EMPLOYMENT RETENTION

Professional Women’s Group

The Professional Women’s Group (PWG) is our employment retention program for women who have secured employment and are seeking to enhance their careers. These monthly seminars feature guest speakers offering professional skill-building advice. Attendees are provided an opportunity to actively participate in discussions and network with peers.

PWG has been so popular that we now also offer an extended, alumni program. This is open to members who have completed 2 years with the group. The PWG Alumni Group meets quarterly in a self directed format where guest speakers and discussion groups set participants up to develop their own path to giving back to the community through leadership and career development.

Financial Literacy

We partner with Capital One to provide Financial Literacy programs that teach our clients how to take control over their finances in an interactive environment. Women learn financial tools and apply them to achieve their personal goals. Topics include Debt Reduction, Credit Management, Investments and more.

Community Action Project

The Community Action Project (CAP) is an eight month program in which selected PWG member(s) create and execute a social change initiative with the intention of improving a critical issue or concern affecting a particular community. With this achievement, delegates experience a leadership journey, gaining experience needed to be true social entrepreneurs.

By the end of the 8 month program, delegates complete a milestone achievement furthering their personal and professional transformation. Additionally, delegates attend an annual Success Summit, hosted in a different U.S. city each year, the benefit of helping others, just as they have been helped is emphasized while delegates participate in advanced networking opportunities.

CAP delegates must be current PWG members and can apply after one year in the PWG program.
