Welcome Coco Wenfei Wang to the Board of Directors!
"I first encountered Dress for Success nearly ten years ago while at Penn, and it left a lasting mark on how I think about opportunity, dignity, and community.
Joining the board of Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose is a full-circle moment for me, a chance to give back to a mission that I hold close to my heart and to help even more women step into their power, professionally and personally. I couldn't be more excited to get started.”
Join us in welcoming Coco Wenfei Wang, the newest member of the Dress for Success San Francisco/San Jose Board of Directors — and someone whose connection to our organization goes back nearly a decade.
Coco is an investor, entrepreneur, and current MBA candidate at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her career began at Moelis & Company, where she advised on transactions across technology, media, telecommunications, consumer retail, and renewable energy, before she joined TPG — one of the world's largest alternative asset managers — as a tech investor. While at TPG, she served on the Women's Steering Board, where she led its Women's Internship Program.
Alongside her investing career, Coco is also the founder of Version Up, a modern workwear brand with B2B partnerships across investment banks, law firms, and university women's organizations.
Coco holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School, where she was recognized with the Vice Dean's Award for Service and the Herbert S. Steuer Memorial Prize for scholarship and leadership.
Thank you, Coco, for taking on this leadership role and for contributing your time and expertise as a member of our Board of Directors. We're grateful to have you with us as we support Bay Area women in preparing for work, securing employment, and building long-term economic mobility for themselves and their families.
