This Women’s History Month arrives at a difficult moment for many women in the Bay Area.

The cost of living continues to rise. Career transitions carry more risk. Too many women are working hard without gaining stability. The distance between having a job and building a future is growing wider.

Ambition is not the issue. Access is.

For years, Your Hour, Her Power - donating an hour of your pay - has been a meaningful way to stand with women during Women’s History Month.

This March, we’re building on that tradition. One-time support no longer matches the reality women are facing today. Career growth requires steady access to coaching, professional attire, job search tools, and community.

Progress happens when people show up consistently.

Why Monthly Support Matters

Career advancement does not happen all at once. It unfolds over time — through preparation, interviews, setbacks, learning, and persistence.

By giving the equivalent of one hour of your pay each month, you help ensure women don’t lose momentum just as they’re ready to move forward. Monthly support provides stability where gaps too often exist.

This March, we invite you to join The Access Circle — our community of monthly donors who make steady access possible.

Your commitment means a woman can prepare, pursue opportunity, and build lasting economic independence with support behind her every step of the way.

What Your Monthly Gift Makes Possible

Support from The Access Circle helps provide women with:

  • Career coaching and guidance

  • Professional attire for interviews and the workplace

  • Skills-building programs and community

This steady access helps women remain connected to the tools and encouragement they need as they work toward long-term economic stability.

The Impact of Access

This year alone, more than 1,300 women are relying on Dress for Success San Francisco & San Jose as they pursue meaningful employment at a livable wage.

Within 12 months of completing our cohort programs, participants increase their income by an average of 191%.

These outcomes are not accidental. They are the result of support that shows up consistently—month after month.
